Coyotes?

Maybe you can help me out. We have been haveing attacks on Small Dogs lately in Estero Florida by Coyotes. They Recommend using a Big stick or pepper spray while walking your Dog. My question is do you have a pepper spray that would work without having to get close enough to danger of being bit while protecting my precious dog from being a victim of these attacks.
